Dr Ssu-Han Yu, Senior Research Fellow of the Oxford Taiwan Studies Programme, was honoured to speak at the Conversation on Small States (CoSS), an event series created by Dr Nitasha Kaul at the Centre for the Study of Democracy (CSD), University of Westminster. She was in a panel discussion on Communicating statehood: The case of Taiwan, together with Professor Christopher Hughes and Mariah Thornton. In this discussion, Dr Yu addressed the issue of generational politics and demonstrated how younger and older generations disengaged in political talk within the Taiwanese family.
